Hurst Shifter for M5OD
#1
#2
I installed a Hurst Bullet short throw shifter in my 1994 F150 when the stock one failed. It was alot cheaper then the factory Ford replacement part, it shifts better and looks cool as well.
The installation took about 2 hours - you simply remove the old one and re-install the new one, replacing all the mounting and retaining bolts as required.
As an added bonus, I can now install any Hurst shifter handle or **** - with the Ford shifter you don't have alot of options unless you want to drill or re-tap a new handle to fit.
Hope this helps, Glenn
