The tech and features on this truck can't be ignored. A lot of that stuff is really cool which makes my complaints about the front grille design kind of silly but I still can't get used to it. I do agree the XL/XLT grille looks a bit better with the vents on the left/right of the bars vs. the KR bars.
I also noticed in the video that it's push button start which is nice.
Upfitters on the ceiling is also a welcomed improvement. Less of a chance to bump them.

I agree I am very eager to check out this new truck! I am really liking all the new tech..... When I bought my '15 I was wanting the digital dash the push button start the better LED headlights. The dodge had all this but I just preferred the Ford. Now Ford is offering all the sh8t I wanted......... Dammit gonna have to spend more money now ☺️

Me too. I'm not necessarily having buyer remorse for buying my 2015 in July, but I am rethinking the fact that I had planned on it being the last new truck I buy for a decade or more.
Maybe after the "all new" 2017 has been out a while and the bugs are all worked out after a model year or two.... I'll trade the 2015 in on a 2018 or 19.
No buyers remorse for me yet... I've had so-so luck with being an early adopter of new models of "anything"... The hope is that they over-engineered the first year model and then backed off from that in subsequent years. I have only found that to be true one time. Not worth the gamble at this point...
I am planning on sticking it out with my 15 for as long as I can...
Great Rodney.... Just great.... So I really should hold on to my 2015 until 2020... Will I have had 20 - 20 hindsight then?
I welcome all the new tech- it is about time. I hated to spend close to a SD price for a loaded F150. It's hard to go back to gas once you go to diesel... Not impossible, just hard.
I really want to see one in person - personally, I hate the headlights on the SD, so that is a welcome change. No matter what they look like. I don't like the handles, I prefer the flish mount ones as they don't get frozen to the door as easily. My wife's car has those handles that stick out and if she parks outside I get to bring a hairdryer to open her car door (or a lot of deicing fluid). I didn't need any of that with the F350.... Just saying...
Main part is how much is this new tech gonna cost us? A Platinum is alread $70k.
I think this new SD will easily break $80,000 in the USA for an F-450 platinum and all the tech/features. Ford knows their customer base isn't going anywhere. This doesn't include the premium ESP with diesel care. You think our current generation has a lot of expensive components and tech, just wait until repairs begin on the 2017. You really won't want to own one of these past seven years. We're closely reaching VaaS. (Vehicle as a Service)

I haven't kept a vehicle past 5 years in a long long time because of that.
My boss as one of those new 150s. The seats will give you a massage as you go down the road. Now if that don't beat all. I wonder what they'll think of next.

Ooooooooooh, I could think of a coupla things.....
Since we have seen the '17s now, I was thinking about some "what if" or "why not" scenarios. My biggest thought was why not take the Atlas concept, beef it up a little, and sell it as the new SD. Found this very well done photoshop job with someone adding the new Raptor front end. Really like the look of it. What say y'all?

There is a reason behind the new door handles. The current design is incredibly easy to break into. Obviously you don't want to wake up and find your truck has been taken across the Mexican border(after crossing the US/Canada border twice, of course).
