installed cradone reman pcm dpc 422 still getting P0605 P1668 P0476 P0269 cylinder 3,and now the truck idles at 800 rpm and wont drop below that,does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?
I installed a new idm,swamps hvhf idm,cleared all codes warmed up reset kam,run KOEO and get P16668 pcm /idm communication,and P0605 rom memory error.I also ran a cylinder contribution test and my error moved from cylinder 7 to cylinder 3.I am at a loss and hoping someone has some ideas
P1668-try doing continuity tests on the wiring from the pcm to the idm. Some one on here will have the pin-out.
The Cylinder Contribution test will change the (suspect or "not") cylinder from time to time. Installing a different CPS can cause it to change.

Are you still running the tuner?
Now that you have the Swamps HVHF IDM installed, as you have now found they can cause a change in idle. I installed one and when you rev'ed the engine it would take 10 seconds or more to return to a higher than normal idle while running tunes that are similar to yours, unless you have changed them...?
I would call Swamps and talk to them. They have heard of this happening.
Some will say it does not matter after Swamps mods the IDM but I am not so sure; was the Swamps IDM for an e99 DPC-402 or a later PCM?
Pull the Swamps IDM and replace it with your old standard voltage IDM and see if it changes anything.
borrowed a test meter and ohm'ed 42 pin,
1=2.41
3=2.09
5=2.56
7=2.40
2=2.81
4=2.69
6=2.81
8=2.71

Passenger side ohm'ed lower too. I'd pull the UVCH pigtail on that side and scrutinize the pins closely. Then I'd use my xray vision to see if your 50 cent mod is still holding.
i have brand new vc's gaskets and spoke to Brian at BTS,i have an appt for friday if i can make it there, he thinks there is a bad injector on that side he says he can hear a miss in the engine running,he thinks number 3 based on the code,have to call full force in the am

But, the buzz test sounded really good, sooo...
Brian said that a broken spring on the injector or other mechanical failure would not show in the buzz test,i was thinking the same as you,

FYI, if you are planning on using I-81 north or south bound for any part of your trip, be advised that there are huge delays in PA with entire sections of road missing....one lane 10-15 mph for 15-20 miles.
