Big Block C6 and Small Block C6 Transfer Case

I know this is probably in the forums some where but I guess I do not know how to search for it.

Will a transfer case from a big block C6 bolt up to a small block C6?

I don't know 100%, but I'm pretty sure that Fords transfer cases were pretty interchangeable over a pretty long period. So I'd guess yes. But again, not 100% sure.

Yes. They all interchange up to like 1997 or later.

All the same. Watch out for different linkage systems for the floor levers, and different types of rear output shafts. Some are slip yoke and some are fixed yoke outputs. But they all bolt up the same to the tranny. There really was no difference in f150/250/350 transfer cases. The 302 used the same transfer case as the 460.
