You sure have a lot of patience man. Not sure I could be that long with out the truck and they still have not figured it out.

Here is the latest. They did find one of the cardboard disc from the top of a Motorcraft PM22A fuel treatment in the sending unit. It would restrict the fuel pick up tube off and on.

A word of warning. The sending unit and the tank had been inspected twice without finding the issue. The tech has to be looking to find it. Had the truck back five days and all seems good. I hope that is the issue.

I'm happy to hear you've gotten your truck back! Fingers crossed the issue is resolved. I can't believe they found anything in the sending unit after inspecting it twice and claiming to replace it once (see your post here). At any rate, thanks for the update and I hope this resolves the issue!

Can't believe it took all that. Restriction and aeration checks should always be performed with a failed pump.
