Thanks Bill, I had searched DC's website and didn't find it,I'll call Vince on Tue and get it coming. This truck has been a nightmare from start to now and I thought I was done with the last of the other builders screw ups but this pulley was another one.

It may not be on DC's website (which is a mess with part numbers combined with ID numbers), it's not in their catalog since it's a NOS obsolete part.

It's listed on rearcounter.com and PartsVoice.com

Your correct,it just didn't stick in my mind,I ran the numbers for the oil pressure sender and water temp sender by Vince a couple weeks ago and they had those parts NOS,the new senders won't work on the 56 instruments you'd have to buy the gauges and senders as a unit and as you said they were not listed on the site.

1956 Passenger Cars/Trucks used a one year only water temperature sender (B6C-10884-A). Back in the 1970's, people were looking for this part, as it was very hard to find.

I found a dealer in NorCal that had 20 in stock, bought 'em for 5 bucks each, sold them at swap meets for 20 bucks each.

I just looked, there are only 20 available NOS

The 1956 only oil sending unit (B6A-9278-A) for your C600 is not that hard to find, just looked, found over 100 NOS

Note: This COE and BIG truck sender is different than the one used on 1954/55 F100's and 1956/64 F100/600's (B6AZ-9278-B).

Who is Vince? The only person I know at DC is Tom, an ex Ford parts guy that waits on the front counter, he had a 'banner day' in 2004.

I was in Charlotte attending the Studebaker Driver's Club yearly GTG. After it ended, drove to DC's place in Concord planning on buying a coupla parts for a 1963 Galaxie 500XL.

Walked in, saw display cases full of NOS goodies, spent over 3 grand.

I was sent to Vince a few years ago when I asked a tech question and he's who I've used ever since, I don't think he works the front counter,he's another guy that has been around parts for years and did a little hot rodding back in the V-8 days.

I have the parts book from Ford for the 56/57 trucks,it covers everything except the cab,I would think that there is a parts book for the cab, do you know what it would be.

I'm in San Luis Obispo
I have the first book you mentioned, does the second book relate to the 2 ton cab forwards as I see it shows 53/56 body, if it does I'll search for one just to make the set complete.
Thankyou
