Ok guys I need some help. I have a 2006 Ford F-250. 145,000 miles on it. A few months ago I blew my egr cooler. So me and a mechanic friend of mine replaced it and while we were at it replaced the oil cooler. My buddy is a diesel mechanic and knew what he was doing. After 2 days of driving it around, the oil cooler ruptured and pumped oil into my coolant. The truck sat for a few weeks until I got up the money to get it fixed. I sent it into a shop and had everything flushed out and cleaned up and a new oil cooler put in it again and all new coolant. $2700 later my truck was back up and running. I recently this past weekend moved to Texas from California and during the drive my ECT would stay around 200 degrees. But my EOT would stay around 220. And those temps are cruising down the highway at 60mph. When I was going through the steep mountains of Arizona, my ECT would rise to 208-212 degrees. But my EOT would go away up and at one point hit 239 degrees. I know my ECT and EOT should stay within 10 degrees of each other. Is my oil cooler out again? What could cause this?
