What work has been done to the truck so far? and when did this start? how?, welcome to FTE btw!.
Over all I've replaced the motor a year later ecu fried out. Replaced that then those issues started. Replaced vss today nothing changed. Talking to a guy says it might be my torque converter
And was it confirmed you have the proper ECU for your truck?, being an auto 93 I'm sure you have an E4OD transmission, which requires a particular ECU to work properly. But yes, it could also be a TC, but I would check very well before spending the $$$ in that, both the part and the labor are expensive for that one, so if I were you I would try the vanilla route before.

I'd hope it's the right one.. had it in the shop for awhile paid a fortune. When I got it back they said the tc was sticking. Makes sense though tried it on my buddies truck and food the same thing to his
I am with Encho on this one. You may have the wrong computer. Looks to me like you found a bunch of part replacers. So sad they did a wallet biopsy on you.

Yea good thing I know where they live. My own family first to screw you over. I'll get the name and post it so if anyone in my town reads it then they'll know to avoid business with them
It may have been pure ignorance on their part, but you are the one that paid the price. It's water under the bridge now....move forward, verify the issue and fix it. Send the bill to them.

Did the guy say how the torque converter could affect the speedometer? He didn't? Maybe because that's impossible. And how could it prevent the trans from shifting? Again, impossible. So you can eliminate the torque converter as being your problem.
I think everyone is on the right track, you have the wrong computer.

I have always thought a t/c either worked or it didnt.
Always look at the simplest stuff first. There is a 25 amp fuse under the stearing column. In the fuse box. It runs much of the instrument panel. If it's blown replace it and see if your problem disappears.
