I installed new slightly used injectors and now I have one
issue that is just worse after install and it wont start once the engine cooled down you half give it a shot of ether to fire it off but it fires up great once its warm it fires up great but the problem that's worse now is it sputters when your on a decal and you clutch it and your not hitting the throttle and it will almost die any help would be greatly apriciated im going be home this weekend so im going to try to figure out and collect as much information as possible before I get back
Run a cylinder contribution test and see if it can pin point which one or ones are doing it. This is why I don't recommend used injectors though. No warranty or guarantee on parts being good.
Also keep in mind that it will take some time to work the air out of the HPO system. Untill thats all out, it may start hard for a while. It can take a couple hundred miles to work it all out. The harder you drive it, the better.
okay I am going to go back over the connections and put electrical grease on it and inspect the injector oil spout discharge and I am going to get a fuel pressure gauge on it and monitor while driving and try to see what I can do on getting it on a scanner but what most confuses me is it starting warm but not cold and it doesn't smoke any oil smoke so far or seem to burn any oil going to go over every thing when I get home in a few hours thanks for the advice another reason I love this site
No it wasn't installed at the same time it was on there when I purchased the truck diy but there are s few things I need to tidy up on it but I can't figure out what's up with it it there is no oil in fuel bowl
Okay guys i left my truck at home once again and asked a family member to run the codes and let me know well they trided tried to but cigaret lighter fuse was blow anyway they hooked cables to and it fired right up they said instantly so I'm wondering if I have a bad starter or batteries and when it getting warm has to do with bad cps and there were no codes stored
Well guys thanks for all the help I got it fixed had dirty battery terminals and it wasn't turnning of just fast enough but now it starts great and runs great so I guess it's time to save for a exhaust
