I never had a no start. And dont use starter fluid on anything. I just had rough idle and black smoke. Drove it for a day and desided to park it and start working on it.
Yeah, I didn't mean to imply you did. I just wanted to offer up a caution since tips usually don't crack without a "root cause" (water in fuel that is not removed removed, low fuel pressure perhaps, etc).
Iv been thinking of what could of caused this and the only thing i can think of is the tank of fuel i have in the truck right now. I changed the fuel additive i used to the 2 stroke tw-c3 just to give it a try. Alot of people on here talk it up so i tryed it. But i dont think thats what did it. My wife brought up a good point that when i was filling up last go around they where filling the undergound tank at the same time. What if it mixed up all the crap in there tank and pumped it into mine anyone have this happen. Because i didnt even think anything of it.
Ok. So up date on the truck injector worked great. Truck so far so good. But i havent driven the truck more than 10 miles after getting it up to operating temp. Not to everyone if your cleaning your turbo dont have oily nasty hands. My turbo smoked for about 20 mins after i started my truck lol. No more exhaust leak just had a local shop weld a new flex pipe on the y pipe they quoted 40-50 dollars was real about 70 but still beats $260 dollars on a new y pipe from ford watch all the youtube videos they show you how to remove the pipe. All in all $ 260 for for a injector from ford dont go with cheap injectors. Always got ford and $70 for new flex section on y pipe. Not to bad.
