OH OH!! Somethings a miss!!

Ok guys here it goes. My truck has smoking pretty good when i start first thing in the morning. Oil smoke i'm sure but would stop after a couple of minutes. I think its the injector o-rings. Well last night on the way home the truck started to buck and fart and smoking real bad!! i started the truck this morning to see what happens. It started but is smoking bad! When i try to rev it up it sounds like it missing on a cylinder and smokes so bad its not funny!! Do you guys think its the injector o-rings to? Please let me know what you think. Thanks in advance Lancer!!!

P.S. The cooling sytem is fine. Its not the head gasket!

Its a 99.5

Probably... If it was just smoking, it might also be a turbo seal, but since its running like poo, it's probably injector rings. Especialy if it's higher mileage.

Not an extremely hard job, just time-consuming.

While you tearing everything apart, you can check the turbo bearings and wheel, and the valve cover gasket and UVC wiring.

Well i spent 4 hours today redoing the o-rings on my injectors and all is well now!!! Not as bad as i thought it would be. O-rings cost me just over $200.00 and doing the work myself saved me alot of money!!!! Just thought i'd let ya's know what happened.

P.S. Checked my ccv canister today and it had about a quart of oil in it!!!

Great work, lancer. Did you use any sort of manual or instructions for doing all that work or did you just dig in and do it?
