Replaced my ignition switch and now the accessory lights stay on without key in the acc or on position ? No other changes , just replaced the switch after the original fell apart.
any thoughts?
Thanks
Jerry

What year truck is this? My 62 doesn't have anything I would consider an accessory light.
If similar/same as the 65-66 if the key assembly is not installed in the ignition switch correctly then what you are experiencing may be the result. Had similar issue after purchasing the 65, on occasion the key would fall out of the ignition switch, or turn the key off while the engine continued to run. Suggest remove the key assembly, need to place the key in the same position as it was when you removed it.
*Removing:
Insert ignition key, remove key assembly by inserting paper clip, or something similar, to unseat the 'ball' what I will refer to as the 'ball', then rotate the key assembly counter clockwise and the assembly should come out.
*Installing:
insert key in the assembly then rotate key to the counter clock position, may need to use finger to unseat the 'ball' in order to position the key in counter clockwise position, then insert the key assembly turn clockwise.
Suggest take a few minute and look at the concentric cam on the end of the key assembly. Check the inside of the ignition switch and you will find a corresponding slot and notice the concentric cam can only be inserted one way, like can not put a round peg in a square hole.
If you are talking about the dash lights, they are not run threw the ignition switch, they are powered directly from the battery to the head light switch. Has nothing to do with the ignition.
