For some reason I have to use my phone to make this post. Every time I tried to load it on the website on my computer locks up.
But I was doing some thinking, and my van start misshifting thing until after I got rear-ended in an accident. Before that it drove fine so I'm kind of at a loss for words here. I'm thinking about taking it in next week to drop it off at the shop all day so they can have a chance to take a look at it and give me a price quote on the repair.
Something happened to the Site this weekend. Internet Explorer 11 on my RAID 10 server crashes over and over then tries to recover the page and locks again. I finally made it back in after a recovery and posted this..............It might be awhile before I'm back here!
There's a new problem now. After a overnight stay in the hospital I was driving home and my trans mission went into "Limp" mode. Wouldn't go over 45mph. I pulled over and turned it off for 5 minutes. Then it started and I got it back home, but now I'm afraid to drive it. When it rains it pores it seams.
You need to get the codes read to be able to diagnose this. The codes will stay in memory for about a month after the last time the light was on. The places that read codes free CANNOT read these codes. You need a good independent shop or a Ford dealer.

Fond a couple shops that will scan the trans for free, but wait time u leave it ther can be 1-3 days. Found a shop that drops pan Afro visual as well as scan for $80 I'm thinking of going too. Right now just siting at the curb in front of my house.
You can drive it wherever you need to go but you might have to shift it manually ...But as Mark said you need to know what codes are present.....you could disconnect the batteries to clear them but they will come back....
