I am a new member and I am looking for a bit of advice. My wildland fire crew just called me and said the pickup will not start. They were convinced it wasn't the battery so they "roll started" it. In the process of it starting up, it made a loud clanking noise and a piece broke off from underneath. They got the truck back to base camp and turned it off and now it's back to the same thing and not starting. I am not there and unsure what I am looking at, what it's going to cost, or how it happened. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
