Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Hey guys I have a 1990 f350 im fixing up. One of the things I want to do is put a set of the Australian headlight assemblies on it I really like the look of them. My question is does anyone have a set here in the US or would any of our Australian members have a connection sell me a set? Thanks
Thanks for the post. Yeah that truck is what gave me the idea to try it with mine. Ive thought about fabricating a set of buckets like what was in his pictures but I figured id see if anyone had a set they would part with.
Some guy on here I think has looked for a set for 3? Years before finding a set off a truck in Australia that was in the back picture of a craigslist add so chances of getting then are pretty slim. Maybe try fabricating a set? Use bullnose lights and make a bucket for them? I don't know just thoughts haha
there is a guy on FSB and on the facebook pages by the name of Tony Rojo that makes custom lights for the bricknose FYI
Not sure if it's the same guy, but I think he is the one who modifies the lights to accept HID assemblies. Pricy though. What the OP is wanting is to replace the composite headlight with a glass sealed beam like the ones on the 86 and older trucks. The lights have that Frenched-in look and the bulb is surrounded by a chrome/painted plastic bezel.
