Just got a chance to check out the battery light thats been on for awhile and found this code. Checked batterys and cleaned, checked charge and seemed fine but... Now gota find code brake down list, I just hope its not pcm like darren32 was.
Since you have cleaned the terminals on the battery, I would clear the code and see if it comes back. I would also inspect the belt and the belt tensioner. The belt tensioner has a wear indicator on it.
Well just checked alt connector and cleaned and tried again, dam.... same thing. I forgot to mention mine idles higher and you can hear the waste gate kicking in out like sound just like it does when its cold. If I remember thats also what darren32 did too. O and the code has been cleared each time I do something, plus belt and everything is good. I also checked charge and its charging at about 14.25-14.3 volts at idle.
I am having the exact same issues with my 2011 have changed belt, alt & checked all wires I can find, but still got the light and p0625 running 14.52 volt desired and 16.384 gen mon volts thanks

Mine is in my shop for the exact same thing, new batteries, alt and ran the entire troubleshooting guide. Only thing left on the list is PCM but hate to throw parts at it but my genmon is 0%
P0625 HELP
My 2008 super duty just started with the battery indicator light, (P0625)
I had just finished replacing the two original batteries and the light appeared, system is charging 14+ when at high idle. 13v at normal idle. My ACTRON code reader identifies the error and will delete it...but it comes right back.
I am still checking all the fuses. Anyone discover an answer yet?

I did, but for some reason I seen that I responded to this thread some how idk why because I have a thread that shows what I did and found. It’s titled “battery light on”. I don’t know how to link threads or haven’t tried so.
