Airbag light on - code 33?
The airbag light is lit solid after flashing "three-three". I didn't find that particular listed, but I found 32 & 34. Any ideas?

Oh, and the truck has a Ranch Hand front bumper, maybe that is the cause of my light? I can't seem to find the sensors that are supposed to be under the rubber flap at the bottom of the radiator. Is this the front or back of the radiator?
Help please, we just bought this truck for my son and we need to get the TX safety inspection done and I'm sure it won't pass with the light on!

A code 33 is a hard code for the driver's side seat belt pretensioner. Here's a description of the code:
Normal Operation
The safety belt pretensioners are activated by the restraints control module (RCM) to remove excessive slack from the safety belt webbing when an impact exceeding preprogrammed limits is detected.
The RCM checks all of the safety belt pretensioners for faults. If the RCM detects one of the following faults on any of the safety belt pretensioner circuits, it will store diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B2292 in memory and flash, depending on the fault indicator, either lamp fault code (LFC) 33 or 34 depending on the fault (or higher priority code if one exists) on the air bag indicator.
Fault Conditions
The RCM monitors for the following fault conditions:
* Low resistance
* High resistance or circuit open
* Circuit short to voltage
* Circuit short to ground
Possible Causes
A safety belt pretensioner fault can be caused by:
* damaged wiring, terminals or connectors.
* a faulted pretensioner.
* a faulted RCM.:
I would recommend checking the connector for the belt pretensioner on the driver's side. I've seen problems with corrosion on the terminals in this connector causing the light to go on.

A '99 7.3 engine did not have pretensioners. A lfc code 33 (B1933) is the passenger airbag code. The pinpoint test consists of checking the wiring and installing a simulator, which you obviously won't have, if the wiring is ok you will need either the ecs module (airbag computer) or the airbag itself.
