Ok my battery light came on, for awhile now, pulled the code and its P0625. I have all the info and tests for this code, sum I cant do because I dont have a live data or scanner capable. Does anyone know where the He!! the fusible link is from the batt+ circuit(SDC14) red wire from three pin connector(C1104A) on alt to or from the mega fuse on passenger side by battery. It says in the schematic that theres a fusible link in between and with it been a fun job the way it is,lol trying to even get at these wire bundles plus to try and open them up is a nightmare. If someone has done before or if you can pin point me to where it is without total disassembly would be awesome.
Just to keep anyone informed, I finally found the fusible link I was looking for and seems to be good so far. Now the fun part tracing down the circuit the rest of the way from passenger side under engine and up to alternator. I have no power at the red 3 pin connector on the alternator but it reads volts with meter, but when loading the circuit with like a test light it doesnt even light it at all. Wish me luck.
Well guys finally got it fixed. It was the c1104-3 circuit from the max fuse on passenger side by battery. After I got to the fusible link and all checked out I was very mad since I knew I had to search farther and into the realm of imposable. It ended up being right at the bottom of the harness as it sits in first tray along engine/pan before it goes to other side along the front. The thing was just corroded like a battery cable and only hanging on by a couple of strands. As I grabbed it I could easily bend in half with nothing there and when I went to strip some coating off to check it just broke. Its only the second time if seen this other then when working on harnesses under a battery or similar spot were corrosion can great problems. I have pics, hope they work, its been awhile since I posted pics or I should say photo bucket has changed since then and trying so... I pitty the guy thats gota do this or eletrical on these trucks, but I guess they get paid for it.
