I can try a re-install. I can do that portion with my phone to see if it makes any difference.

In my latest test, the log file column is created for the EGT gauge and a "-" was inserted where the values should be.

I also discovered that there seems to be some interference with the MAP PID. Note the max reading on the MAP gauge(~330) in this photo:

Before capturing the EGT data, both the PLX and the OBDLink MX had stable readings for all PIDs. I'm going to have to experiment more with this.

I've tried to contact the Torque Pro developer via email and message board and haven't heard back yet. Given that it appears to be a one man show, I'll give that a couple of weeks before deciding if there's anything that can be pursued on that path. His activity on the message board seems to have dropped off or possibly stopped.

Looking at your MAP, I wonder if you have a multiplier issue or a metric issue. What happens if you put 0.10 in your multiplier?

I think the map setting is ok. It's just that I get a bogus value every so often:

[EDIT] Out of approx 1790 samples, here are all the bogus readings in ascending order:

235.625
236.53125
236.53125
316.28125
377.90625
447.6875
455.84375

[/EDIT]

Here's and example from the log:

When I use a chart display for voltage, it will spike to '63' or something like that before it starts getting data. Sounds like a bug in the software?

Maybe try "Synchronous logging" which is supposed to be more 'careful' with logging one line of all sensors at a time?

BTW, here is a link to a TorquePro Quickstart guide I started with screenshots and some info. Might help you get set back up once you reinstall.

When telling others how to get TP going, there were a number of settings I had forgotten about...so I took advantage of those notes and made the guide. Maybe you won't miss as many

Found a different app that can log egt. Still getting to know it. But I figured I'd post a chart for kicks. We can change the temps really fast:

What app is that? This is the first EGT log I've seen, even though I've seen plenty of Infinity logs.

DashCommand. I'm giving it a shot since it appears that active development on Torque Pro may have stopped (I'm not getting any response to emails or forum requests for bug fixes).

I never looked into DashCommand for having external inputs, I just get jammed up in my head because it has no IPR gauge.

IPR = Injector Control Pressure Duty Cycle?

I'm bugging them about that now - since I'm a paid customer I figure I can whine all I want. I'm really hoping it's not there due to some oversight.

Their logging is a little goofy too. I'm trying to figure that out and then determine the best way to whine about that too.

Can someone confirm which of these configurations support and external EGT sensor (not part of the OBDII stream). Kiwi 2 is discontinued. Thanks
