Turned out lost vref somehow. They tapped into vref from somewhere else; not sure how that happened but nothing was seeing vref.

For future reference, tach on a 95 does move on cranking and when the anti theft is disengaged using remote or key in door, theft light goes out completely. Mine was blinking when it lost vref.

VREF comes from the PCM . where else can you get only 5 volts in the system ?

Did they circumvent the anti theft system ?

Negative, anti theft still activates. Looks like it was going from pcm but not to main harness... There is a jumper in there that i am guessing comes from tps supply. I haven't traced it yet

The TPS gets its VREF from the PCM as well
