Cam removal

Im replacing the cam in my 83 f150 300.

Does any one have any tips to remove it?
I have it loose and able to pull it out some but can't get it all the way out.

Have you removed the distributor AND the fuel pump? Both of these will prevent the removal of the cam.

Cool, glad you got it.

The fuel pump is what held me up too when I first did one.
