Good Evening Everyone.
Boy don't buy glass from Fast Glass in Fallon. They are awful. I called on Monday to get the rear side window for our Crown Vic. Set an appointment for today at 11am. I offered to pay for the glass over the phone when I ordered it. I get there at 10:45am they tell me the glass didn't come in, It would be there by 1pm. So we return at 1pm no glass. Finally the glass arrives at 2:30pm. This is the second time I have had issues with them. Two years ago it took them over two hours to install a windshield in our 95 F150. Again I made an appointment in advance. I will never deal with Fast Glass ever again.
So our trip to Fallon was not what I hoped for, but did get everything done finally.

It is Friday already? Where did this week go? This has been one of those weeks. I have started my days this week over a half a dozen times hoping for better results. I'm hoping a few days in Laughlin will make things feel better. But 112 degrees will be a shock to the system. But my service dog will enjoy the river I'm sure. As for me I'm going to hang out at the pool.

I have not been to Laughlin since the mid 90's. Is the river still there? LOL. Have a good time. Although I don't know if that is possible in 112 degree heat. It is 105 here, and when I was out in it, I thought I was in a broiler being cooked for dinner.

Thanks Jim. Yea I'm not looking forward to the heat. That is one reason we came back to Central Nevada. A lot cooler summers. I'd rather deal with a few months of cold vs 5-6 months of over 100 degrees.
Yes the river is still there I think. It was 6 weeks ago. LOl

Went fishing this last week with some of my old fire crew. Had a blast, caught a lot of trout!

Donna, did you get the short in your scooter straitened out?

The A/C is working fine, ex cop cars seem to have good A/C. I just hope it continues working well. Suppose to be in the 114 area with 18-23 % humidity & that taxes not only A/Cs but the entire engine. I can remember when living there & opening the hood after a few mile run to the store & burning my hand just touching the oil dip stick or anything under the hood. But staying at the Aquarius Hotel Casino we really never need to leave except to go to the wife's doctors appointment on Tuesday am. After that we leave & head home.
