Good Morning Everyone.
Pat I hope your knee replacement goes smooth. I hope you picked a doctor that does 100s of replacements. That was the first thing I was told by not only doctors, orthopedic nurses, but guys I know that have had replacements was to find a orthopedic surgeon that does 100s of these or that is all he or she does. I'm facing replacement one day myself or both knees.

Good Morning Everyone. Woke up & had to take my wife to the hospital. She has a major infection & possible further blood clots. Will we ever get her healthy?
So our move to Tonopah is not happening at this time. Thank God this happened before we got moved. Tonopah only has a band aide station anything like she has would be a flight to Reno or Las Vegas.
Thank God, Hawthorne has a hospital a little better equipped. & can handle IV antibiotics, & has a sonogram that comes here. Along with doctors from Reno/Carson that come here.
So we will be here until further notice. I'm OK with that. I have friends here.

Thanks Jim & Wally. The price of getting old I guess.
Staying here I can get Dr Fry from Tahoe Fracture Clinic to give me my options with my shoulder. He comes here to Hawthorne every few weeks. I have gone to him in the past & like him.

I'm back to batching it until Monday or Tuesday it sounds like. They are saying that she may also have a bone infection. But her Specialists in Arizona who she saw last week is ot so sure of that. So once she is released we will head back to him & follow his direction. He is a Vascular Surgeon of 50 years, a Research Doctor, from Harvard Medical.
