Well Craig, it sounds like you are just driving your butt off! Prickly pear farm? Boy you are full of surprises.
Cheers
Afternoon Everyone.
Bruce too much driving for my liking. Hope your day at the Brewery Arts Center was fun.
Hot here today. Or it feels hot. The weather is saying 91, 7% humidity but it feels hotter, & muggy to me. That is after coming out of 114 in Laughlin. The older I get the less I like the hot heat.
I know the feeling. I don't know what the temp was supposed to be today but I know it was HOT when I was in it. I am guessing 100-101, but like I said I don't know for sure. Tomorrow it is supposed to get up to 102. I have no appointments tomorrow, so the AC is going to get a workout.
Jim, I was reading about Fresno being one of the top 5 cities in California on the verge of running out of water. Is it that bad there? I read a small town by Tracey CA has run out of water.
That sounds serious. Maybe time to stock up on drinking water. I guess a man in that little town had been storing water for several months & has 500 gallons of drinking water. While he was doing it his wife thought he had lost it. I bet she is thinking different now.

I have not heard anything about Fresno running out of water. So far, the only thing they are stressing is that we cut our water use by 25% I would imagine, if we were running out of water, they would tell us no more car washing, no more green lawns etc. Although they are saying not to water the lawn, they have not come out and said we will run out of water. All the canals around here are flowing steady so there must be water somewhere.

Good Afternoon Everyone.
That is good to hear Jim. Bakersfield was listed also & a friend of mine up here has his wife & a place in Bakersfield & he said the cuts were to agricultural for the most part, when I talked to him today about it.
Hope everyone has a great day. We start our move to Tonopah tomorrow. By next Friday I plan to be completely moved. Not that much mainly moving RVs & the deck & ramp for my wife. But I have to do this in phases. I'm not young anymore. Hope to get some help with set up when I get moved. I have an RV on our lot in Tonopah that I will swap out so we have our big RV to live in. The smaller one will end up in Goldfield. Wish me luck, I'll need it.
Our farms were told they would not get any water for irrigation. I do remember seeing the headlines for that. I don't know how they can possibly grow any food without water, but then again, all the canals I have seen locally are full of water, so I don't know what is going on here.
