A previous owner replaced the stock wipers on Pebbles with aftermarket black ones . any one know what size (length ) they were and maybe have a picture . I have a few sets of Ford silver wipers laying around from over the years and other projects .
thanks in advance
mike
2x. 15 inches. IIRC, NPD just started carrying repro frame with blades.
I've been having a helluva time finding just the refills... the local parts stores only offer the assembly.. Probably due to the fact that non-mechanical folks were unable just to change the blades. Lame.
thanks , pretty sure I have 15" ones laying around just need to get the refills
I know local Autozone has the refills behind the counter ( you have to ask for them )

There are two types of wiper blades. The originals have a push button on them to remove the inserts.
But the newer blades (circa 1983 and later) do not have the button. The blade has to be bent into an arc, then the old insert is pulled out of either end, new insert installed same way.
When these blades came out, next to no one knew how to R&R the inserts, as there were no instructions included that showed how to do it.
Interesting. Thanks ND for the background... I'm of the genre of those that bend-outta-the-way.
Mike... maybe that's why I can never find them on the rack! I'll give it a shot... I think all of my toys have bad wiper blades.... a couple with just shreds left!

I remember those , i worked at a gas station at the time , other co-worker would bend the little tab with needle nose plyers to get blade out . like every other one he broke the tab off . lol
