Leveling kit ???
2" 2.5" 3" 3.5"? (I don't have the truck yet)
The "kits" out there are as simply as:
2x 2.5" spacer blocks & hardware $80-$644
OR
2x spacer blocks & hardware, 2x rear blocks and 2x shocks $199
OR
2x 2.5" spacer blocks and 2x control arms for $489-$900
Will two 2.5" strut blocks do the trick for $100?
Steel, aluminum or polymer blocks?
Steel on steel = good, but rust?
Steel on Aluminum billet = non-same metals sometimes clash
Polymer (plastic) = longevity? abuse? crack?
Not looking for advice whether to do it or not, but any advice on what kit to go with would be appreciated.
Thanks-
Not all trucks have the same amount of rake. Without knowing how much rake your truck has it's hard to say what size spacers to go with?? I have a 1.5" kit on my 2014 but I wanted to retain some rake. A 2" should put you close to level, it does for most but some trucks end up slightly nose high. If that's the case you will need larger rear blocks. It's guesswork if you don't know how much rake you are starting out with.
