Just got my Lariat trim truck and learning all the settings available. Does the truck have DRLs? Mine does not, US specs. I found a setting for Daytime lights but it doesn't seem to make any difference if it is set to On or Off.
I thought DRL were mandatory these days. I'm pretty sure they are in California. Maybe it's a state-by-state thing, but it doesn't make sense that if some states require them, that they would only enable them in those states?
I just checked the Ford web site, and DRL are included in all the base packages. So even on the XL with the base-base package (100A), it includes DRL. From the web site:

Ford Order guide shows it as available on XL and standard on XLT and higher. It comes with the power equipment group which is standard on 101a. So ALMOST all of the trucks will have it.
That's what I thought. Mine does not have working DRLs. I've tried both settings, enabled and disabled, and not working. I guess I need to call the dealer tomorrow.

Do you have somebody checking for you or are you checking yourself? Like others have stated the DRL's are off until truck is put in gear.
