Leveling Kit

I need some help with what size leveling kit. I have an F-250 4x4, Harley Davidson, 2005. I want to make the front level with the rear and I am looking at the spacer kits.

I DO NOT WANT THE FRONT HIGHER THAN THE REAR!

The math doesnt make sense to me. I have seen most places offer a 2.5" leveling kit. Well my truck measures 40.5" in the front and 43" in the rear. That is a 1.5" difference?

I had one place I called offer me a 2" leveling kit, but they couldnt tell me why they had the 2" and not the 2.5". I have also heard that if i raise the front 2.5" then the rear needs to be raised 1" cause it is a F-250 and not a F-350??? Something about rear blocks being differnt on the F-350's?

Any advice? Please? Again...I DO NOT WANT THE FRONT HIGHER THAN THE REAR! ( I am so afraid that will happen)

Thanks in advance!!!

I'm also thinking about a leveling kit. This is what I'm planing on doing. I have a 2006 F250 cc short box 4x4. I'm going to put a 2" spacer in the front and remove the rear block a put in a 3-1/2 block. I will still run 33" tall tires with aftermarket wheels. I know I have beat my shelf to death thinking about this I hpoe it looks right. please post what you come up with. I'm going to use newton lifts I think.

I may be wrong but 40.5 minus 43.0 is 2.5" difference. So that would mean the 2.5" level kit would work perfect. Unless you typed the numbers wrong.

ProComp and Icon make a 1" leveling kits, BDS makes a 2" leveling kit, and ReadyLift makes a 2.5" kit.

Check your math and pick the one that get's closest without going over.

If you're scared about getting nose high, either don't level it out, put 4" factory blocks in the back, put in higher rate factory front springs, or the smallest leveling kit you can find.

My truck is 40" in the front and 41-3/4" in the rear. I would think you want a little rake. You could take a floor jack and jack it up untill you thinks it look right.

I agree, IMO the back should be a little higher. When the truck is perfectly level, I think it looks like it's sagging. Put any load at all on it and it will really be sagging.
