I have an 09 screw with a 2" AS leveling kit. After hualing some dirt and a trailer this past weekend i did not like the amount of rear end sag that I got. I am possibly looking at putting in some different rear blocks. I am curious as to what size i should look into. I would like a slight rake but only plan on putting 33's on in a bit. If anybody could give me some info and pictures it would be greatly appreciated. would 3" be too much and should i only look at putting on a 1"??
From what I've read, a lot of people put on a 2" leveling kit with 1" rear blocks. It depends on how much racke you want in the front. I would think that 3" would put you back to the factory rake that you just got rid of with the leveling kit.
I went with AirLift airbags, aired up to @27 lbs, sits level and multi-purpose. Were $190ish when I got them last yr but IIRC they are around $220ish now- from Summit Racing anyway.
You can put the blocks out of a 04-08 f150. They are about double the thickness of the 09-11's. they look good. you will need new u-bolts as well. sorry, no pics for you.
i think the blocks will be all that i need. Just need to find the right size. THe different kits I have seen all have new U-bolts that come with. Although D8chumley has got me thinking about hte rear airbags. What kind do you have, were they an easy install, any problems with them yet? I would love to see some pics of trucks with both air bags or different rear blocks. Thanks

AirLift, got them at Summit Racing. Install was 2.5-3 hrs with hand tools on a cold late Nov. weekend, no heat in my garage. First side took the longest, after I figured out what was supposed to happen the second side was done in like half hr to 45 min. Plus I routed my lines to the top holes of my license plate so I drilled them out a bit. I have had zero problems, and if I need to tow something heavy I just adjust air pressure. Pretty simple.
