Yeah I thought of that too but I fixed my intake hat that came from factory with some metal epoxy so that the boot would seal. So far it is working and was cheap. Im about to order an r&d 90 and new injectors with a ww2 to help make it pull better.
All this IDI talk makes me miss mine greatly. Intercooler was the only thing I didn't get to before I sold it. It did go to a good home and I have visiting rights.

Wow nice IDI how did it fair to that pull? I like the 6.0 too
It faired just as well as the 6.0L. It went everywhere the 6.0 has with the same efforts and speeds. Actually I remember the first 8% grade in PA that we hit going out there, and saying to my wife it preformed just like the old truck. It ran really well.
