Lets see those 5th wheels
I am guessing you are referencing the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 here. The problem is not in the law. The problem is, from a practical sense, how are you actually protected by it without hiring an attorney? I have heard this law referenced many times, but I don't personally know of any individual consumer who has used it to win their case.
I don't know the answer. Just raising the question.

Here's an example I know of first hand. Norcold refrigerator not working right. Owner had installed fan on coil to aid cooling. Factory denied claim based on modification of fridge by addition of fan.
I don't know what a person does then. Trivial example, but if I remember correctly, the law was pushed through by after-market manufacturers. I have heard it often referenced by after-market manufacturers when explaining to consumers why it is okay to purchase their products, but I do not know of a case where they have ever come to the defense of a end-user. I wonder it an individual has ever won in one of these instances.
Would be interesting to know. I have tried to wade through some of the legalese and it looks to me like RV warranties are "limited warranties", which I think gives them more wiggle room. I don't think we have any way to really know what would happen without a test case.

That's a nice truck with some nice trailers
No chucking and bucking and its quiet. The best part is I can take it out of the bed without breaking a sweat. Who wants to struggle moving around their hitch? Not me. Heck, even the wife doesn't mind taking it out of the bed. With a long bed you can hitch and unhitch at a 90 degree angle, although I've never needed to do that. But you could if you wanted to.
