I don't know the answer. Just raising the question.

I am, and I agree. Just stating the facts.

According to the title this thread relates to pictures of 5th wheels, not frame warranties or the virtues of IDI. Just saying...

Here's an example I know of first hand. Norcold refrigerator not working right. Owner had installed fan on coil to aid cooling. Factory denied claim based on modification of fridge by addition of fan.

I don't know what a person does then. Trivial example, but if I remember correctly, the law was pushed through by after-market manufacturers. I have heard it often referenced by after-market manufacturers when explaining to consumers why it is okay to purchase their products, but I do not know of a case where they have ever come to the defense of a end-user. I wonder it an individual has ever won in one of these instances.

Would be interesting to know. I have tried to wade through some of the legalese and it looks to me like RV warranties are "limited warranties", which I think gives them more wiggle room. I don't think we have any way to really know what would happen without a test case.

Your right of course. One thing seems to lead to another some times. Some of it is my bad.

Sorry

With that IDI I'd imagine your travels will only be within about 20 miles from home.

Not enough ponies and not enough of the slow lane either.
Agree with your first comment. The rest is hillarious. My 87 6.9 IDI pulled just as well as my stock 05 6.0. To stay on topic here it is pulling 5ers.

For those wondering the IDI pulls it just fine. Kept it between 60-65 on the freeway. Had to downshift to 4th for a grade but that kept it at 60. The truck has pulled much heavier loads than this before

I'm sure it does pull it just fine. Glad to see it. Wish I still had mine.

No chucking and bucking and its quiet. The best part is I can take it out of the bed without breaking a sweat. Who wants to struggle moving around their hitch? Not me. Heck, even the wife doesn't mind taking it out of the bed. With a long bed you can hitch and unhitch at a 90 degree angle, although I've never needed to do that. But you could if you wanted to.
