on post#9 the spot weld in Question, is that on the Metal latch or actuator. If on the Metal then it got pried out different before. make sure it's not a moving part before the spot weld or rivet placement. the post on the 6.0 thread that Josh posted up has the location of the screws that need to be taken out the door panel just lifts straight up ( don't forget to disconnect the light ).

Beautiful day in the armpit of California. Had to go to my storage unit to get my birth certificate. Apparently the Section 8 people won't accept just a SSN card and State drivers license as proof that I am alive. LOL. Also picked up some DVD's and a folding table to put my laptop on, so now it is more comfortable for me to type in my room while I sit on the edge of the bed with the table next to it. I am a happy camper. Oh, also picked up my 30 year old Realistic Pro 60 headphones which are identical to Koss 4 headphones. So now I can hear my music, or DVD's without having to hear the TV in the living room which always seems to be too loud.

Happy thirsty Thursday Nor cal FTE and friends. A bit soggy here as it rained the past two hours, but the sun has broken through and it appears the rain is gone. Still should be enough to keep the grass green for a day or two.

We had some more rain in the afternoon, but it was selective, my friend said it was pouring by her house, but we only got sprinkles. She lives northwest of me in Fresno, so I don't know how it missed me.

State of the chapter address...

Just purged 23 people from the chapter who have not posted in over a year, so we are down to 134 members from 157. Two of those have been in the chapter 9 years, and only made 6 posts. Of those left, only 4 or 5 ever post on a regular basis. Why even bother joining a chapter if you have no intention of ever posting in it? Makes no sense to me.

Even the new people (with a couple of exceptions) I approve for the chapter have not posted in it.
