Scooter is running fine, and long. Before I could barely go a mile before having to recharge the batteries. Now, I can go several miles. It is great not having to worry about running out of charge far from home.
Not yet, it is currently a waiting game. I was approved for section 8 and sent them the documents they wanted, so I am waiting for them to send me the voucher. Then I will have to wait until a rental becomes available at the park. So who knows when that will be. There is one gentleman who is thinking of moving into a smaller place as he rented a single wide, with 3 bedrooms, and he is single. So maybe, I can get that one. However, he is paying $695 a month, and I don't think my voucher will allow me to get anything over $650 a month, so I will see if the landlord will rent it to me for $650.
We had lunch at the Hualapai Lodge! We drove through Bullhead and Kingman.
Have been up there but never ate there.
Afternoon from the tropics. Rained all night until about 9 am this morning. It was fairly hard. The rain is needed but it would be nice if God would spread it out a little. Want to get my shed finished & was rained out today but I'm working tomorrow unless I can't get between Tonopah & Goldfield.
Craig; good luck on your shed project! Nice thing about Nevada is it dries out quick!
Thanks.
Yea if it will ever stop raining. It has been raining fairly hard again tonight for 3 hours. I have lived in this part of Nevada a good portion of my life & I have been thinking back trying to remember if I could in all my years remember this much rain day after day for this long. According to the weather reports we have another 5+ days with rain in the forecast. But the desert will be beautiful this early summer. We will have loads of wonderful desert flowers. God knows we need the moisture.

I hear that, Craig. Been raining here almost every day, and I know, it will probably stop sometime next month, and we won't see a drop for months. Went through the same thing when I built my shed. Every Saturday we'd try to pour concrete, it would rain and fill the forms.
