Busy! Got some projects to Finish then get ready to cruise up to Topaz Lake for a visit with my Brother!
How much longer till you have some real time off?
I actually get this coming weekend off! My wife has a big software release at her work this weekend, so I asked my boss if I could just take this weekend off. He said since I'm been on 6 day weeks longer than anyone, I'm fine taking this weekend off. Finally!
Yeah, we'll get some time together one of these coming weekends, we're going to try and head down to Kansas City for a weekend, just her and I. Need a little "us" time!
Morning everyone. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.
The wife and minion have only been gone since early Saturday, but it feels more like 3 weeks than 3 days. Dave coaxed me out of the house more this past weekend than I am usual out in a month. If I am not careful I will lose my Hermit Lodge 702 Brotherhood membership.
I don't know why, but last week I started to get in touch with my inner patina. I waxed the truck! Primer, paint, rust, and metal all got the treatment. There are still more sections to go, but the outcome was really surprising. It brought out some of the darker reds and made the truck look so much better. If it wasn't for the greenish fender it wouldn't be bad at all.
Wow, it is actually on the street, and not in the driveway. That is cool that it looks better. Wouldn't think there would be much there for the wax to work with. Looks pretty good though.
That was outside Dave's place yesterday. I don't get too many pics when I am away from the house with it.
Not sure if it helps Pat, but I did add a couple to my garage pics.
I am still on the lookout for the 4th center-cap. Friend had one from an F150 but it was the large lug style and didn't fit. I guess I need one from an explorer or Ranger.
