theres a possibility that it is a fuel leak, which is picking up oil and grease on the way to the concrete. you should be able to smell fuel though.
I had a wet fuel filter hsng which I fixed with new Banjo Washers, blue spring mod and a billet cap.I know, by replacing multiple parts I dont know which was leaking, but I did them all at once due to access..(Van)
It was the only time I saw any wet spots under this one.

Could that also make it's way to the bell housing? I have the blue spring mod already I will check again on the leak
Do you smell fuel? it will be prominent. I could smell it when I walked around the front of the van.
yes, it will make its way back down the valley.
there are also multiple spots for an oil leak to develop in the valley. oil cooler cover gaskets, oil filter assy gaskets, oil filter cover, Turbo supply line, HPOP cover,etc....

I smell normal diesel exhaust I think I'm going to check that banjo this later. There is a sensor or something behind the oil filter and it looks a little wet I'm thinking that could be it as well
