Sorry I got you mixed up with someone else .

Your leak sounds like it's coming from one for the glow plugs. There's four on each side. They are plastic electrical plugs with an O-ring seal. I had to destroy mine to get it off. I think there around $60 from Auto Nation Ford.

The CAC boots leak oil at the lowest point, in the front by the radiator. It's a common issue.

I don't see that you gave a year and millage.

For the record I often times can't read the dipstick after an oil change. I normally check it after about a week of running and I like it no higher then half way on the dipstick grid.

Do you have a Scan Gauge ?

The fan speed is controlled by the PCM which uses multiple sensor values to determine fan speed, oil temp being one of those sensors. The fan is always on even though you can't hear it. It changes all the time but mine runs about 350 rpm's unless I'm working it hard.

Not sure if the Livewire will read fan speed or not.

I would go back and double check all electrical connections, but I wouldn't be afraid to drive it, just watch your temps.

Oh your OK then, no problem there.

If you find your oil leak snap a pic and maybe someone can identify where it's coming from.

If you don't normally park on concrete floor, then you can stick a piece of cardboard under it overnight to see how bad it's leaking.

That plug is for your EGR solenoid valve that is not there. Someone removed it and put a block off in it's place.
