lol, well get to fixing!! Yes that is normal. If that is the source of your leak, do a search fo CCV reroute. There is an oring on that tube but it's about worthless IMO...

Ok I'll look into my other thing i was thinking it was bed plate or rear seal but I see oil up above the drivers exhaust manifold
How dirty was the oil filter when you changed it and how dirty is it now?
.
Didn't look to dirty last change however I didn't check it today. Also my fan turned on wile I went to the store and didn't go back off guess I have another problem now. Why do you ask about the oil filter?

Sorry I got you mixed up with someone else .
Your leak sounds like it's coming from one for the glow plugs. There's four on each side. They are plastic electrical plugs with an O-ring seal. I had to destroy mine to get it off. I think there around $60 from Auto Nation Ford.
The CAC boots leak oil at the lowest point, in the front by the radiator. It's a common issue.
For the record I often times can't read the dipstick after an oil change. I normally check it after about a week of running and I like it no higher then half way on the dipstick grid.

Ok thank you I will check there tomorrow also my fan stays on not sure if I hit something putting the air filter back in. Is it safe to drive with it on?

Do you have a Scan Gauge ?
.
No I have an sct livewire temps look good icp pressure vgt is all good 05 with 107000 on the click
The fan speed is controlled by the PCM which uses multiple sensor values to determine fan speed, oil temp being one of those sensors. The fan is always on even though you can't hear it. It changes all the time but mine runs about 350 rpm's unless I'm working it hard.
Not sure if the Livewire will read fan speed or not.
I would go back and double check all electrical connections, but I wouldn't be afraid to drive it, just watch your temps.
