Not a thing in the world. It's actually pretty hard to beat
Yeah, that's what I thought.... Keeping the OEM filter reduces leak points and I didn't really like having the filter in an area that might get road-rocks, salt, and other debris
I've got the filterless BDP cooler as well. Empty my oil temp never goes above my coolant temp. In fact it's usually 10F less.
As for pulling, last weekend i had a car hauler with 2 side by sides on it and im running a farely hot tune. EOT was a couple degrees higher than ECT especially when i was going up some of the big hills around here. Highway the hottest i saw it was 203f with ECT at 195.
When in the city it got a little warmer than that. With my A/C on in stop and go traffic, EOT got as high as 220 but ECT was also riding around the 200 mark. Temp outside was hovering around the 25c (75 - 80 f).
With a Mishi thermostat my ECT is running 207 on the highway and EOT runs 186. That's pushing it. Around town it typically runs 169.
FWIW, I've never had any issues with my filter behind the bumper AFA damage from rocks, etc. go, and IIRC the new kits have a shield that protects the filter. Still, the OEM filter setup works well with the BPD cooler and is much easier to service.

I rather like the OEM filter because of it's ease of replacement!
