Oil Level ?

I just changed my oil for the first time today at 1000 miles. Every since new my oil level was up on the metal part of the dip stick every time I checked it.. I thought it was fuel dilution but today I only put in 14 quarts of oil when I refilled it and it is still reading above full. I think either 15 quarts is to much or the dip stick is reading wrong. What have you all been seeing with oil levels on the dip stick ?

There's some post on this subject in the past if you do a search. I just changed mine for the second time and I have been staying at 14 1/2 quarts and the oil in at the top of the max. If you notice one side of the dip stick seems to have oil higher up it must set at a little angle.

When i change my oil ive seen anywhere from 15-16 quarts of oil. Ive been told that the trucks with DPF deletes are not making any extra oil. I put in 15 quarts at each oil change and will continue todo regardless of what comes out.
