truck died while driving

I have a 2007 explorer that died while i was driving. We have changed the battery, alternator, spark plugs, fuel filter, and have checked the fuel pump, starter, throttle body. The truck cranks but wont kick over. I am out of ideas. Any suggestions/ideas?

You didn't say anything about checking for error codes. Have you done that?

Also, welcome to FTE.

Have you tried a slight big of starting fluid.....just a small spray to see if it tries to fire.....could identify fuel vs spark problem. Sarting fluid us not recommended for these engines but I have used a small amount to check for fuel flow issues....

This may sound obvious, but did you change the fuel itself ? We had a similar issue once and the fuel went bad and it would not start. It was a pain but it helped.

Five things are required for an engine to run- Fuel, air, spark, compression and timing. Take away any one of those and it will not run. Beyond replacing parts, what have you done for testing? Does it have spark, fuel, good airflow, and compression? Did anything unusual happen when it stopped running? Does it sound normal when cranking over?

If it is not firing check the Crank Shaft Position Sensor.
