Looks great Joe. Out of curiosity, does your the power heat and turn function on your mirrors? You have an EB so I would imagine it would have all the functions plug and play.

Mine does have heated mirrors, signals and puddle light.

I haven't tried the mirror heat yet though, just isn't cold enough. I suppose I could try them in the rain, but there hasn't been much rain when I'm driving yet either.

And it is a plug and play, those 2 wires had to be inserted into the correct holes. Same number of wires as the old mirrors, so there's no reason why the mirror heat wouldn't work...

Just got back from the first towing trip, they worked great. Like you said, the mirror glass shook a bit, nothing serious, and I got used to it pretty quick. Convex mirrors were rock steady. The extend feature made it easy to see around the trailer without issue.

10/10 would buy again.

Bump in case anyone is looking to do this upgrade. No complaints with mine so far. I test drove a 2004 Super Duty the other day and even with the tow mirrors they put on from the factory, the visibility was terrible compared to the ones on the Expedition.

Smile Great write up!

Many thanks for the detailed write up, the pictures, and the information. Just finished installing the same set on my 2003 Expedition - and love them. Took about 1 hour and 15 minutes start to finish.

For the price - these are amazing mirrors. The install was simple and smooth.

Thanks again for sharing the information with everyone.

Thanks for the kind words. I am glad that this could help some people with upgrading their original mirrors for ones much better suited to towing.

In looking back, a better title for this topic would've been, "Hindsight is 20/20".

Out of curiosity, for my 06 Expy Limited I have power folding mirrors. What does the folding function do with these mirrors? Does it extend them? Or do they fold as well?

Will this work for a '03 Navigator? For some reason the website doesn't offer these mirrors for a Navigator but I would think the mirrors on both would be the interchangeable.
