my truck did not come with the super duty tow mirrors. i have just bought a pare and was wondering how hard they are to install. it seems pretty simple to me...i was just wondering if hooking up the electrical was difficult!

The electrical depends upon connector type. If the conector on new mirrors matches the old mirrors they will plug right in.
You have to remove the door panel to get to the connector. This link shows how to remove door panel. LINK
I just installed the tow mirrors on my f-350.... pretty easy if the wiring harness is the same. i ordered the OEMs ones for my year (round connector). 2 bolts hold the door skin on (1 behind the reflector and 1 under the window switches). I would suggest removing the speakers in the door as it makes getting to the mirror wiring harness a lot easier.
other than this there are only 4 nuts holding on the mirror to the door behind the black snap-in and the black bushings.
oh and one other thing before you disconnect the window switches .... roll down the glass.... you can un-bolt and catch the mirror if you don't have another set of hands around.
