Morning.

It's hump day people.

Went out this morning and the roads were fine, just standing water here and there. But the weather is getting warmer.

Wet heavy snow in the driveway going to have fun getting that cleaned up. Think I'll wait a while. See how it goes.

Rain this time of year just plain sucks. I would rather it just keep snowing until we can manage to melt some of it.

Evening guys. We have still been managing to work pretty much each day this week. We got a lot more done on the chimney today. Apparently the building inspector can't come to check out our work until the 17th of march due to a death in the family. We are continuing to build.

Boy am I glad I widened my driveway and got
rid of the heavy slushy snow yesterday!
Did it the old fashioned way, a "shovel!"

Morning everyone.

A little white stuff this morning and some slippery conditions earlier. Now just wet with a few snow flakes. This is going to go on and off all day.

One good thing this morning is sausage, egg, and cheese on a English muffin with a hot cup of coffee.

Well we are stopped dead on 495 in LI. Southern ct and ny roads are pretty bad, much worse than Hartford area this morning.

I'm up to 3 cars driving with hazards on, surprisingly low I think. I expected it to be about 30 for a 4 hour ride so far.

I went to New London and back this morning with truck and big trailer. Roads were fine until south of Middletown and it got progressively worse as I got closer to the shore. Traffic was sill a steady 40-45 most of the time.

Afternoon, shoveled our houses entire roof off today, and then driveway/deck. Had some real deep & heavy spots on the roof, like an 18" slushy up there in some places. It was a bit nerve racking at time but I am up on roofs enough to the point where it wasn't to bad.

Just think 15 days til Spring.

We had a dusting this morning and then at 3:30 I went out and the driveway was a sheet of ice. Ice melt did the trick. All roads were dry and clean.

It does look like a warming trend is headed this way next week.
