Good morning everyone. A little warmer today.

Got a bunch of emails yesterday afternoon, looks like we'll be moving a little sooner than we thought. Headed back to Minnesota, and they're trying to get me there in July. Hoping to put that off a couple of months.

Sorry to see you go. Will keep in touch on FTE. I do know that you like the upper mid-west better than CT. Minnesota has some nice country. July will come up fast. If you need help with things just yell.

Thanks John. I'm fairly confident they'll defer the move a couple of months, but it's not certain. We really liked it up there before, and my wife is really excited about it. Cambridge, MN is where we're headed, and it's about an hour north of the twin cities. Nice and rural up there, but not too far out.

Morning guys, nice blanket of heavy fog down here.

Thought I had found a truck yesterday with a ZF5, guy messaged me back and said it's auto Turns out finding one of these trucks to get the parts from to do the swap is damn near impossible, closest one I've found so far is in Maine

That's because those are all still running and not for sale!

Makes me regret scrapping the few trucks I did back in high school after robbing what I needed off them.

I'll find one eventually! I'm planning on doing a bunch of work to the truck at once:
Weld the frame, swap in a ZF5, put the 4bbl intake and carb on, do the exhaust, put an electric fan on, and put a receiver hitch and 7 pin harness into the truck as well. Solid front end swap is kinda off the table for now since my TTb is totally fixed, working well, aligned properly and riding great. It'll be a long weekend to get all that done, or few weekend

Good morning everyone.

Definitely have mixed feelings Andy. We really liked it up there in the past, but I have lots of family and friends I've made over these last few years around New England. At the end of the day it's not really my choice, we have to keep our preferences updated in the system and the folks at Fort Knox figure out where and when we go. I wasn't expecting to leave so soon, but I'm a pretty adaptable guy.

Morning

There is so much country out there to see. Been to all the states and I am fan of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. But next move most likely to North or South Carolina. (wife's work) Work has been what kept me in CT all those years. Now that I'm retired, time to move is near.

John, my mom is retired, my dad will be retiring soon, they are ready to leave Ct as well! Ct really makes it tough for retired folks.

Evening gentlemen. This up and down weather has been wreaking havoc on my immune system it seems. Feel like another killer cold is on the way. Hopefully it passes quick.

Tom, sorry to hear you go, but I second/third/fourth getting out of CT as a positive move. I have been a lot of places in the country, and CT isn't on the short list of places I want to live. I am a big Minnesota Vikings fan, so maybe I will have to bug ya sometime and come up and see a game. Maybe after the new stadium in finished.

Kyle, that's a pretty serious list you have going for that truck. I have one for my truck as well, but I am not real confident any of it will ever be accomplished.

Hope everybody has a nice weekend. We were supposed to go to a chili cook-off in Branford tomorrow, but it looks like we are going to skip it due to the weather. Oh well.
