Well I guess there was a rush to clear the shelves of exploding target chemicals. I got 3 calls in the morning yesterday. I was more upset the way the Today Show handled it. Now every idiot that has no business handling it is going to run out and buy some. Also any bomb makers that are out there can now cloak themselves as just another one buying the product. And last there is Blumenthal the biggest a** I know sticking his unwanted two cents in. Let's see what else we can ban next gunpowder, bullets, oh guns, knives, and forks. And that won't be enough for him.
In sadder new is the release of names and addresses of our military people.
This has been a long time worry. Social media is the culprit. Nice to be able to talk to your family on line (personally I think it's great for the men and women in service and I don't what is in place for security), then go out on patrol on duty. Info is so easy to get on line, scary and I don't have the answer, I hope someone does.
Oh okay, I've heard of that stuff before. Anything can be misused, in most states you can buy fireworks that can do the same thing.
I don't know the specifics behind where they got the information from, but it's not hard to find if you know where to look. Lots of folks in the military proudly display that on social media, their cars, and everywhere you look. I've always been taught about the dangers of that kind of thing. You just need a name and a phone book to narrow down likely addresses.
My wife has some silly magnets she puts on her car that identify my employer. I absolutely HATE that for this reason, it could potentially make her a target. She finds that unlikely and refuses to take them off.
Decal that I hate is "This car is protected by Smith and Wesson". (or an other gun manufacturer. It's telling people you have a gun. And that could get you killed.
Tom you should have someone that your wife will listen to tell her the facts of life when it comes to military stickers. I am some proud of every service man out there whether combat or service. But no stickers, can end in a bad result when the wrong people see it.
