Hey, at work the service truck door ajar stays on and same with lights, sometimes it flickers. quite a few trucks that i know do this, how do you fix it?
I had the same problem with mine, but I read how to solve it on this site. Just spray the switch with some WD-40 and problem solved. No more Door Ajar.
Just don't use any type of grease to lubricate the switch, that's what messed it up in the first place.
Get a can of some WD-40 and spray the door latch down good. It'll only take 5 seconds. Be sure your not spraying the hinge because the switch isn't in there.
Yup the switch is in the door latch. Spray LOTS of WD40 (only) into the latch and open and close the door a bunch of times. This will usually clean out the switch and it will work again.
