ok guys i need some help, my dad recently picked up a 2004 f350 with the 6.0 he got a good deal so couldn't pass it up (maybe he should have lol) Anyways truck cranks but won't start. I've been reading up online and I'm thinking it might be the HPOP or a BAD leak. i scanned it with the torque app and i got
FICM 48v while cranking
IPR 83.9%
ICP 6.3 psi
I took the oil filter out and cranked it the canister did fill up with oil so I'm guessing its not a low pressure problem, also tried starting it with icp unplugged and no luck. i took out the icp and put a gauge got about the same reading 6psi, removed IPR valve the screen isn't broken but it is pushed in. So could a bad ipr cause the pressure to be that low or are we looking at a bad HPOP
Also pulled these codes
p0678
P0683
P2291
P0275
P0341
P0528
P0403
P0671

First thing to perform is an air test. The IPR being bad will cause low ICP pressure during cranking, I would try cleaning the IPR first, remove the IPR screen and hold the piston down with a screw driver being careful not to score the IPR valve in any way and flush it out with carb cleaner. Here is the link to the updated coffee table book so you can see what the codes mean that you pulled, https://www.ford-trucks.com/ford-man...ble%20Book.pdf and here are some videos to show you how to perform an air test,
An air test is going to need to be performed you can build the adapter to go from the compresser to the icp valve for about $35 from harbor freight. Follow the links in the past posting and it will tell you all u need to know.
sounds good guys looks like we'll be performing an air test, it probably won't be till this weekend as the truck is at my dads but ill try to keep you guys updated.
