My 2004 f350 6.0 died and will not restart. I suspected ICP, un plugged still no start. On scan tool pressure was over 500 PSI. Tried another ICP still no start. Pressurized through ICP port on valve cover, and I could here some air escaping. I had two injector codes, so I sent the injectors off to be tested, 1 out of three tested bad, I replaced 2. I installed a new standpipe and dummy plug on the oil rail. I also installed an EGR delete kit while I was working on the truck. Put it all back together tonight, still no start. The weird thing is on the scan tool my ICP pressure is now low, max 400 psi. I put shop air to ICP port, and can still hear air. I removed valve cover and am not sure if the air is from the back (towards cab) of the rail or some where else. I hear a gurguling sound, possibly from the HPOP area. Any ideas, no sure what direction to go in. By the way when I did the delete, I checked the IPR screen, it was clear.
I energized the IPR with a old IPR pigtail, then pressurized thru the ICP port. IPR is working properly. Listened for leaks, couldn't hear any. Went to the next logical thing, removed the HPOP. After removing, turned it by hand, and it was rough, it felt like it was hanging up. Washed up, went to get some lunch, when I came back, messed with the oil pump again and it felt fine! Decided to install new pressure pump based on how it felt when I first removed it and figured maybe the seals on the inside were worn. After getting it all back together, cranked the truck three times and it started!!! Must have been the HPOP after all. Truck seems to be running good, smooth and quick, but when I scanned it I'm getting a cylinder 5 fault code, but the balance and contribution is great. I'm going to run it for a bit and scan it again tomorrow.

It helps if you post the specific codes you are getting then clear them and see if they come back. Might be a FICM/injector related thing and not an HPO thing, OR you might be leaking HPO from an injector causing the code.
