vibration/rumble

Have an 01 F350/4wd/v-10/auto. Sometimes I get a vibration going down the road like a wheel out of balance......even slowing down does not make it go away. If I stop....and take off again....it it just fine with nothing at all. It has done this from around 40 mph all the way to 65 mph. Seems like a wheel balance issue it would happen all the time. And sometimes...pulling my 5th wheel....turning right out of a parking lot.....I have had a rumble from the back but only loaded....not empty. Have thought of center support bearing....but have tossing money out and not being fixed. Any ideas??

The rumble from the rear pulling a load while turning at slow speed is probably your limited slip diff. Does it sound like slow speed rumble strips? Grr-silence-grrr-silence-grrr? It is the clutches slipping. Not a big deal. Mine does the same thing. If it gets bad or you start to experience rear wheel hop in a turn you can change your diff oil and make sure the slip agent additive is correct.

Is the wheel out of balance sensation in the front? Could it be early onset death wobble?

It is kind of a rumble from the rear. Got new gears in a few months ago(but was doing it before that) and used Redline diff fluid in front and rear which cover the clutch pack.
Thought about the death wobble.....but it only does it every so often. All ball joints and tie rod ends are good. Never have had a problem with the gear box. This just started about a month ago. Might not even shake for over a week or so.....then sometimes it will do it for about 5 miles and when the truck is shut down.....on the way back home....it is perfect.

Did you use the gear oil with the friction modifier additive?

Got the shaking/vibration stopped. Was a stuck left front brake caliper. Had just replaced both of the calipers in Nov./2013 from O"Reilly's.....and just replaced them again. Now will figure out the vibration rumble when taking off and pulling my 5th wheel especially turning a sharp right turn.
