If a product description says, ABS-no, does that mean it's not for a vehicle with front abs or it doesn't have a sensor ring. Application is for a 99 ranger front axle shaft, abs sensor is in hub I believe. At least the hubs have the wiring coming out of them. I'm looking at the Carquest cv shaft from Advance auto and under specifications it says ABS-NO ? It's an online only product so I don't know if the store could answer question or not.
I would expect that the CV is not designed to work with ABS equipped vehicles. Call Carquest if you want to be sure, asking for the part number for ABS equipped.
Alternatively check other on-line sites for ABS equipped listings, and see if the part number tracks. Many aftermarket suppliers use VERY similar part numbers for their products. You could also call or email Cardone, as they are a major supplier of re-man CV and other steering and driveline components.
