Ford made the 5R110 TorqShift that is in the LCF. Ford only made ONE bellhousing pattern on every 5R110 that was ever built. a 6.0L or 6.8L 5R110 will work fine on that trans, as long as it has the same output shaft as the trans that's in there now. I seem to remember that the 4x2 and 4x4 used the same shaft, but a different extension housing.
Don't get one from a 5.4L, those have internal differences that will cause it to fail early behind a 4.5L. It will bolt right up and function, it just won't last.
Klosky?????????
Sorry Mark Spell check didn't work Like always glad you found the thread with your Input I'm glad you guys didn't beet me up to bad
Follow up:
Bought the tranny, installed it yesterday, it works great.
1. There is no such thing as a R5100
2. There are no odd ball diesel bell housings
3. The LCF takes a 4X4 trans. The yoke fits right on.
4. The only difference would be weather or not the tranny has PTO.
Side note:
The tranny cross member in the LCF is stupid!
Hi, hope I'm not doing anything wrong here but have almost the same problem, can't find if I can interchange 2 ford transmissions.
1 is from a 2020 F450 4x4 LC3P7000KB
and the other is a 2023 F450 LC2P7006AA, I have pics if needed ?
My 2020 F450 dually transmission has lost it's mind, and trying to find another for it, and came across the 2023 tranny for sale, any help would be appr.
Regards,
